Shipping Terms & Conditions
Shipping Flat Rates and Free Shipping Thresholds:
- Free shipping with any order exceeding $250 (Not including tax and/or freight/oversize items).
- Orders $100-$249.99 will be assessed a flat $10.95 shipping rate.
- Orders $99.99 or less will be assessed a flat $12.95 shipping rate.
- Oversize charges, expedited shipping, LTL truck shipments/freight shipments, and residential delivery fees are assessed by the carrier and billed by SME, Inc. USA under the terms of your account.
Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other U.S. territories do not qualify for free ground shipping. SME, Inc. USA guarantees the lowest possible shipping rate, which may be charged separately. Please be advised that additional charges may be assessed by the carrier when shipping oversize items, freight items, or when shipping to a rural or residential address. An SME, Inc. USA team member will contact customers about shipping surcharges and reserves the right to assess additional charges.
An "address correction fee" assessed by FedEx/UPS is an example of a surcharge and is primarily due to an incomplete or inaccurate address being provided upon checkout. Our current surcharge rate is $14 for Standard Ground Shipping and $25 for Express Shipping. Delivery confirmation numbers and tracking numbers will be provided via e-mail for most orders. Emails are sometimes blocked by anti-spam software, so please be sure to add smeincusa.com as an approved sender.
Freight Delivery
Freight delivery applies to treatment tables and a variety of clinical-grade exercise & rehab equipment. Freight delivery has different options & associated costs vs. standard ground shipping. SME, Inc. USA has partnered with a third-party logistics company to provide you with the most affordable pricing possible. In order to provide you with an accurate quote, we'll need to know which type of delivery that you would like to use: Dock-to-Dock, Liftgate, Inside Delivery, White Glove Delivery, or Full-Service Delivery & Assembly. It's important to understand the terms of freight delivery acceptance, including visible damage and concealed damage. Please be sure to inspect your product(s) thoroughly before signing for the freight delivery. Failure to note damage on the delivery receipt may result in your financial responsibility for repair/replacement of the product(s).
